Finance Support Assistant. - Immediate start. Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised individual to join our clients finance team based in County Londonderry, NI. As a Finance Support Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data and processes. You will support the day-to-day operations of the finance department and ensure all activities comply with internal policies and procedures. This role is a 4/5 week temporary role with the possibility of an extension. Key Responsibilities: Use finance systems to input and extract data in line with internal control procedures. Prepare and reconcile financial records, ensuring accurate processing and timely completion of tasks, including file uploads. Review, prepare, and process documents in accordance with financial controls. Carry out regular control account reconciliations and adhere to best practices. Provide administrative support and respond to queries related to finance operations. Liaise with budget holders to resolve issues quickly and in line with organisational policies. Contribute to the planning and improvement of finance procedures, offering suggestions for system and process enhancements. Communicate with relevant external bodies such as HMRC, pensions providers, or the Student Loans Company where necessary.
