Be part of truly global team with collaboration with product development teams based in California, USA, Michigan, USA, Chennai, India. We are looking for engineers/technologists to start our advanced technology group in our state of the art facilities based in Newport, Wales.This role will involve requirements analysis, system design and testing of complex systems using expertise from multiple technical disciplines.The selected candidate will:* Work with marketing and engineering teams to define system architecture.* Create and execute test plans to validate system performance.* Collaborate with functional groups to define and review designs to solve customer problems.* Be responsible for subsystem design/development, system integration, test and characterisation* Identify and manage program and technical risks throughout the life cycle of the product. Establish and actively manage mitigation plans to reduce and retire risks.* Provide system trouble shooting, new product introduction and escalation support.* Support internal and external customers in implementing processes to build and use the tool effectively and solve intricate problems to optimise tool performance.* Be a creative problem solver with a proven track record of solving complex technical issues.**Occasional domestic and international travel up to 20% will be required.**KLA is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
