The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the design and delivery of Data Centre projects across the UK and Europe, working with major blue-chip clients and global technology providers. Key Responsibilities Lead the electrical design and coordination of Data Centre and mission-critical projects, from concept through to completion. Manage project delivery, ensuring technical excellence, quality, and compliance with client specifications and international standards. Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers within the electrical team, fostering development and high performance. Oversee project financials, resource planning, and client communications. Collaborate closely with mechanical, sustainability, and architectural teams to deliver integrated design solutions. Contribute to business development efforts, including client presentations, bids, and proposals. Ensure designs incorporate energy-efficient and sustainable engineering principles. About You Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartership (IET or equivalent). Proven experience delivering Data Centre or mission-critical projects within a consultancy environment. Strong understanding of electrical systems design — including power distribution, UPS, standby generation, lighting, and protection systems. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders. Proficient in relevant software (e.g., Revit, Amtech, Dialux, AutoCAD).
