We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to provide a secure and safe environment for all staff and visitors on site. The role involves applying thorough access control procedures, carrying out site inductions, planned and ad-hoc patrols, and responding appropriately to emergencies following prescribed escalation and communication protocols with site management, Corps colleagues, and emergency services.

What You Will Need
* Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
* A valid SIA Front‑Line License – essential.
* A valid SIA CCTV License – desirable.
* Confidence and ability to establish and maintain effective relationships at all levels.
* Ability to meet deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft software packages (e.g. Excel).
* Capacity to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards.
What Are You Going To Do
* Maintain overall site surveillance, carrying out regular patrols and recording these as per Corps and customer requirements.
* Ensure all visitors and contractors are correctly briefed, sign in and out.
* Record delivery entries and exits, processing paperwork in line with site quality procedures.
* Carve out patrols to the correct standards.
* Set and unset primary and secondary alarm security systems for out‑of‑hours provision where applicable.
* Comply with site waste management procedures.
* Complete required documents such as daily occurrence logs, shift handovers, incident/accident records and other site‑specific reports.
* Familiarise yourself with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments and other quality & safety documents; advise the Corps Duty Manager or client personnel on any changes or recommendations.
* Maintain personal training records via the Corps Colleague Portal, keeping first aid and fire marshal training up to date with legislative guidelines.
* Continuously apply SIA skills, maintaining a high level of professionalism; display an SIA licence at all times.
* Perform ad‑hoc duties as directed.
