Summary We’re looking for a dynamic, creative, organised, and confident individual to develop a new visitor experience for Shugborough, as part of a project looking at the development of the facilities and infrastructure. You'll work closely with internal and external customers, and will manage small projects and budgets. What it's like to work here Situated almost equidistant between Stafford and Rugeley, Shugborough is the best-known and most significant surviving historic house, designed landscape and estate within the county of Staffordshire. Reporting to the Project Manager you'll be part of the internal consultancy. You'll be based at the Shugborough Estate, but we do offer a hybrid working environment. Click here for more information about this location What you'll be doing We're about to start an exciting new chapter for Shugborough. You'll be responsible for ensuring all our key partners feel communicated with and engaged, at all stages of the project from concept to delivery. You will need to work with a number of internal and external collaborators to deliver to tight deadlines. You'll look at ways we can fund the elements of the project and potentially submitting funding applications. You'll also be responsible for developing key areas of the visitor experience bringing the property story to life through exciting and engaging interpretation as well as delivering the basics from toilets to property maps. You'll deliver play interventions, both large and small across the property in addition to developing the new ‘Explorer’s Wood’ play area.
