Job Title: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (70/30 Mechanical)
Location: Sunderland
Remuneration: £42,000 - £45,000 per annum
Contract Details: Full-time, 2 or 3 Shift Pattern (You Choose!)
Responsibilities:
Join our client as a Multiskilled Engineer Maintenance and become an integral part of a dynamic team! You will be responsible for:
Performing mechanical maintenance, focusing on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Stripping down, repairing, and replacing motors with precision
Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues efficiently
Carrying out electrical repairs on the production line.
Collaborating with colleagues to optimise maintenance processes
Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations while documenting all repairs and contributing to a positive team.
Skills:
We're seeking a proactive individual with:
17th Edition required (18th training provided)
Strong mechanical skills, especially in hydraulics and pneumatics
Proven experience in motor repair and replacement
A hands-on approach and a problem-solving mindset
The ability to work effectively in a shift pattern
