About the Role * Location: Stockport, Manchester * Salary: £46,420 * Shift Pattern: Monday- Friday, 37.5 hours, 07:00-15:00 or 08:00-16:00 * Benefits: Van 10% Bonus 5% Pension Holidays Sick Pay More What will I be doing as a multiskilled engineer? * Taking lead on all electrical tasks and offering support for mechanical issues where required, ensuring all plant machinery meets regulatory requirements. * Reactive breakdown resolution including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance. * Planned maintenance to follow schedule for conveyors, ECS’, Balers, compactors, shredders, lighting, general electrical systems and more. * Involvement in planned yearly shutdowns. * Travelling to other sites in the area when there are operational requirements, including installation works. * Mentoring and supporting apprentices during their development. What are the requirements? * NVQ level 3 in electrical engineering or equivalent * 18th edition qualification * Previous experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance for industrial machinery including conveyors, motors, VSD/VFD, Estop circuits, domestic installations etc. * Able to read Schematic drawings.
