The Opportunity Our client, a highly regarded residential developer with a strong pipeline of projects across London, is seeking an ambitious and driven Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. Key Responsibilities * Assist in the preparation of cost plans, budgets, and tender documents * Support in the procurement and management of subcontractor packages * Attend site meetings and liaise with project teams to monitor progress * Carry out valuations, variations, and assist in cost reporting * Prepare and process interim valuations and final accounts * Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial obligations The Ideal Candidate * Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field * 1–3 years’ experience in a QS role (ideally residential or housing) * Strong numerical and analytical skills * Excellent communication and organisational abilities * Eager to develop and progress within a dynamic, fast-paced environment * Full UK driving licence What’s On Offer * Competitive salary of £40,000 (dependent on experience) * Attractive package including car allowance, pension, and bonus potential * Supportive team environment with genuine opportunities for career progression
