Helping children to be more mindful is a powerful gift. By being mindful they will learn to recognise and manage their emotions, be more able to calm down when they are upset, become better at focusing on important tasks and more able to interact with others with empathy and generosity. Mindfulness sessions and activities are incorporated into our curriculum and include childrens yoga, meditation, singing and discussing our worries using our worry monster. In addition we have a range of personal, social and emotional literature which can help support some challenging experiences and understand some complex situations children may face.
