About the Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Engineering Administrator to join our team at Site B (Amber) in West Bromwich on a 12-month maternity cover basis.
In this role, you will support the site engineering function with a range of administrative, reporting, and coordination tasks. You'll play a key part in ensuring engineering operations run efficiently by maintaining accurate records, supporting projects, and assisting with day-to-day departmental activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Collate and maintain engineering KPIs, producing regular reports and dashboards
* Provide administrative and coordination support to the Engineering Manager and wider team
* Assist with engineering project support, including tracking timelines and gathering data
* Maintain accurate records, document control, and filing systems
* Raise purchase orders, track invoices, and support budget administration
* Coordinate contractor bookings, permits, and site access requirements
* Support maintenance planning activities and CMMS data updates (where applicable)
* Assist with scheduling meetings, travel, and general departmental organisation
About You
You'll be highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll have previous experience in an engineering or technical administration role and be confident managing multiple priorities.

Key Skills
Essential:
* Previous experience in an engineering, manufacturing, facilities, or technical admin role
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Confident using Microsoft Excel and managing data/reporting
* Ability to support multiple stakeholders and prioritise workload effectively
Desirable:
* Experience with CMMS systems
* Exposure to maintenance planning or engineering project coordination
* Familiarity with purchase order systems or SAP
