Key Responsibilities
Managing the financial controls and reporting for BibliU Campus Inc, this role reports to the VP Finance Campus
* Financial Reporting and Analysis
o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts/financial statements for the BibliU Campus Inc
o Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and reporting
o Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts
o Identify financial trends and provide strategic insights
* Accounting Operations
o Prepare sales tax and property returns
o Ensure accurate bank and balance sheet reconciliations
o Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory and general ledger
o Implement and maintain robust financial systems and controls
* Compliance and Audit
o Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and accounting standards
o Coordinate and manage external audit processes
o Develop and implement internal financial policies
o Maintain high standards of financial record-keeping
* Team Leadership
o Manage and mentor the BibliU Campus Inc finance team
o Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
o Provide guidance and support to team members
o Coordinate cross-departmental financial activities
Required Qualifications and Skills
* Educational Requirements
o Bachelor's or Master's degree
o Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
* Technical Skills
o Advanced proficiency in accounting software (Excel, Xero/Quickbooks, Netsuite, Fathom and similar)
o Strong understanding of financial principles and procedures
o Excellent financial analysis and forecasting capabilities
o Comprehensive knowledge of international financial reporting standards
Experience Requirements
* Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in financial management including group consolidations
* Proven track record in financial reporting and accounting
* Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and strategic decision-making
* Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
