Morgan Hunt is working with FE Colleges in Oxford to recruit passionate and dedicated English Lecturers. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching to 16+ learners, supporting them to develop strong literacy skills, achieve academic success, and progress in their education or careers.
Location: Oxford
Pay: up to £38/hr.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging GCSE and/or Functional Skills English lessons in line with the curriculum.
* Create resources that cater to a range of learner needs, including those with SEN.
* Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and support learners to meet their target grades.
* Track and maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessment outcomes.
* Contribute to curriculum development, teaching resources, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
* Recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
* Degree in English, English Literature, Linguistics, or a related subject.
* Experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills English in FE or secondary settings.
* Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
