About the Role
Core subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEN / SEND Tutors are needed for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs in Cambridgeshire.
Multiple positions are available, and hiring is ongoing to meet various needs. We aim to transform education quality for young people with SEN / SEND, including those with MLD and SLD.
We seek passionate SEN / SEND tutors eager to work 1:1 with children and young people, employing creative, flexible, trauma-informed approaches to improve engagement and educational outcomes.

Role Responsibilities
* Providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other needs
* Supporting children referred by local authorities and schools
* Delivering flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Planning engaging, needs-based sessions
* Providing holistic support to enhance educational and social-emotional development
* Completing lesson reports and progress feedback
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS)
* At least 2 years of teaching experience
* Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or similar needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
* Enhanced DBS (assistance available if needed)
* Two professional references
* Right to work in the UK
Employment Details
* Engagement as a Worker on a contract for service, paid via PAYE
* No set hours or expenses coverage
* Insurance coverage included
* Not a self-employed role
