This is a high‑profile post responsible for delivering the Trust’s Communications Strategy and enabling the organization to achieve its strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
Drive operational and strategic communications to increase reach, impact and visibility internally and externally.
Oversee the communications portfolio: public relations, marketing and internal communications.
Promote the Trust’s work by providing high‑quality communication, engaging staff and stakeholders, highlighting good public health and safeguarding the Trust’s reputation on social media and the press.
Act as the link to NHSE England, Integrated Care Boards, communications departments and networks with local NHS and local authority communicators, providing wider support across the Trust’s service areas.
Lead the communications process on behalf of other NHS organisations and the wider health community for projects or initiatives where RDaSH takes a leading role.
Manage the Trust’s internal and external communications, media, marketing, graphic design, print, video production, social media and events teams and the team budget.
Produce excellent written content for internal and external messaging.
Oversee the planning and running of Trust events such as the AGM/Fun Day, Leaders’ Conference, Annual Trust Awards and Distinguished Service Awards.
