Job Description
Fairmont St Andrews is seeking an Assistant Bars Manager to join our dynamic team!
Reporting to the Bar Manager, key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Providing consistently professional, engaging, and friendly service.
2. Taking sole responsibility for the outlet during shifts, assigning duties to team members, and ensuring smooth operations.
3. Maintaining a safe, secure, and hygienic environment for customers, staff, and visitors.
4. Promoting hotel and Fairmont brand products to customers.
5. Handling all cash, payments, billing, and gratuities according to Beverage Department procedures.
6. Training and developing team members through innovative training sessions.
7. Developing an annual training calendar tailored to individual needs and documenting training professionally.
8. Assisting in developing and implementing new food strategies with the Executive Chef and Bar Manager.
9. Covering for the Bar Manager during their absence.
Qualifications
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Highly responsible and reliable.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Focus on guest needs, maintaining calmness and courtesy at all times.
Visa Requirements: Applicants must be eligible to work in the EU or hold valid UK work authorization.
