I am looking for a personal care assistant to support me for 16 hours a week on a Friday & Saturday or Sunday. I love being out and about, I have a big interest in tools and vans and I enjoy playing golf and I am very sociable. I have complex health care needs. I am epileptic & I have Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. I am mobile however I use of a wheelchair when in the community. Personal Care – There are aspects of personal care involved in this role, I require support toileting. Social Care: Accompanying and supporting me when out in the community. To perform such other duties as may reasonably be required. Personal Specification Driver will full driving licence. Be patient and supportive. Be friendly and outgoing. Be honest, reliable, and trustworthy. Be respectful of the employer's dignity, at all times. Understand the need for privacy and confidentiality. You should have a thorough understanding of personal safety. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. A willingness to undergo any training highlighted by the employer. You should have some knowledge and understanding of risks. Have an awareness and knowledge of equal opportunities.
