Group Health & Safety Manager
Are you an experienced health and safety professional who has worked within a manufacturing environment? We are looking for a Group Health and Safety Manager to develop and maintain policies and procedures alongside creating a strategic vision. The successful candidate will enjoy a hands‑on role and have dealt with multiple health and safety scenarios.
Job Description
* Develop, implement and monitor health & safety policies across the group, ensuring compliance and consistency with current legislation.
* Conduct risk assessments, safety audits and incident investigations to identify and prevent workplace hazards.
* Promote a positive safety culture by engaging employees in continuous improvement and awareness of their responsibilities.
* Deliver and coordinate training programs for employees, contractors and new starters.
* Lead safety committees and reporting, maintaining accurate records and serving as the main contact for external bodies.
Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
* NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
* Well‑versed with developing health and safety policies, procedures, risk assessments and safety audits.
* Previous work within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
* Full UK driving licence.
