SCUK Customer Service Advisor

Santander Consumer Finance (SCUK) is looking for passionate Customer Service Advisors to join our busy Contact Centre team in Redhill, Surrey. This is a hybrid position; you will be required to attend the office full-time for the first 6 months (fully remote workers will not be considered).

You will seek opportunities to improve our service and make decisions aimed at delivering an exceptional customer experience every time.
Day-to-day, you'll:
1. Answer a high volume of calls and interact with customers via live chat and email
2. Handle customer needs and queries, aiming to resolve on the first contact
3. Investigate queries, escalate when necessary, and liaise with relevant teams
4. Meet service standards and SLAs within specified turnaround times
5. Advocate for customers by working closely with other teams
6. Show empathy and provide personalized solutions where possible
7. Assist customers digitally using their devices

Important information:
The department operates between 8am and 6pm. You will work on a rotating shift pattern:
* Week 1 - 08:00-15:00 (plus 1-hour unpaid break) & Saturday 09:00-14:00
* Week 2 - 09:00-17:00 (plus 1-hour unpaid break)
* Week 3 - 10:00-18:00 (plus 1-hour unpaid break)
* Week 4 - 08:00-16:00 (plus 1-hour unpaid break)
* Week 5 - 09:00-17:00 (plus 1-hour unpaid break)
* Week 6 - 10:00-18:00 (plus 1-hour unpaid break)
Average 35 hours per week over a 4-week cycle, including working 2 bank holidays annually.

Location & Training:
Initial training is provided on-site at our Redhill office for 6 months. Post-training, hybrid working (minimum 3 days in-office) is available, subject to manager approval and individual performance.
Next start dates are 7th July, 18th August, and 6th October. Dedicated trainers will support your training.
