Our Client

Our client is a well‑established and fast‑growing distributor of weighing and medical measurement products, serving a wide network of dealers and partners across the UK, Europe, and Africa. With over 30 years in Abingdon and continued year‑on‑year growth, they are recognised for reliability, quality, and excellent customer service.


The Role

You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end processing of sales orders, ensuring smooth coordination between customers, couriers, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities include:

* Processing orders, allocating stock, and generating warehouse documentation
* Booking outbound freight and coordinating collection arrangements
* Liaising with customers, couriers, and online sales portals
* Supporting warehouse and operations activities as required
* Maintaining accurate ERP data and records


Main Duties

You will play a key role within the Operations team, contributing to the effective flow of goods and information.

Core duties include:

* Order entry, stock allocation, and invoicing
* Carrier booking and management of outbound freight
* Interaction with e‑tail platforms such as Amazon and eBay
* Processing purchase orders and updating inbound freight tracking
* Maintaining product, customer, and logistics data within the ERP system


The Successful Candidate

* Brings experience in a similar operations or order-processing role
* Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
* Has strong IT skills and confidence using ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics experience a bonus)
* Communicates clearly with customers and internal teams
* Is accurate, organised, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality work
