Job Description
Sick of churning out drawings no one reads?
You weren’t made for design by committee or five-round sign-offs. You want to build stuff that works and gets used.
This team’s got a live project in motion, and the deadline’s real.
They’re building defence-grade equipment that goes into extreme environments. Think metallic structures, complex frames, and tight tolerances. They need sharp CAD minds who can hit the ground running.
You’ll be working on SolidWorks, helping take concepts through to final drawings. The engineering team moves fast, and you’ll be hands-on from the jump.
The real hook?
* Your work lands on the shop floor, not just SharePoint
* You’ll be listened to - this lot actually want your input
* It’s not just mechanical, if you’ve got electrical design experience too, even better
* No bloated teams or chain-of-command nonsense
You’ll fly in this role if:
* You’ve got SolidWorks on lock
* You know your way around metallic frames and complex assemblies
* You’ve worked with electro-mechanical kit (or at least know the difference between a relay and a resistor)
* You want to be part of a team that builds cool things and skips the waffle
Sound like your kind of setup?
Pop your CV over or drop me a message. Let’s get you in front of them.
Due to the nature of the role, High Level Security Clearence is required.
