We are recruiting three additional skilled, motivated and compassionate nurses with relevant experience in caring for children with life‑threatening or limiting conditions.
The successful candidate will provide professional support to the Children’s Community Nursing service and Rapid Response Teams, working alongside specialist teams including Children’s Complex Care and Special School Nursing.
This role will also allow you to further enhance your leadership and management skills within a supportive and experienced team.
Responsibilities
* Provide on‑call palliative and end‑of‑life care to children and young people.
* Support families to ensure social, emotional, practical, and nursing needs are met.
* Participate in the Children’s Palliative Care nursing team to deliver high quality, holistic, child‑centred care.
Qualifications & Skills
* Registered Children’s Nurse or Adult Nurse.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and effectively with initiative.
* Passion for palliative care and commitment to improving quality of life for CYP and their families.
