Description Are you interested in working alongside the Scottish Public Pensions Agency’s Executive Team in an Executive Support role? The agency administers pensions for Scottish Teachers, Police, Firefighters’ and National Health Service employees on behalf of the Scottish Government. The Executive Team Support Lead and the Executive Team Support Officer ensure efficient and effective business support and management of the SPPA Chief Executive and wider SPPA Executive Team. You will look after the Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive diary and mailbox management, triaging accordingly and ensuring prioritisation and action is taken with senior colleagues across the agency. You will also be responsible for the arranging and management of SPPA Executive Team meetings and provide wider support to the SPPA Executive Team as required. Responsibilities Providing efficient, effective and proactive support to the SPPA Executive Team. Management of SPPA Executive Team Meetings, including scheduling, agendas and minuting. Diary management for the SPPA Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive. Triaging information and tasks on behalf of the SPPA Executive Team to ensure a consistent level of awareness and understanding across senior colleagues in SPPA. Liaise with senior colleagues across SPPA to ensure appropriate and timely action and response in relation to projects, tasks and enquiries on behalf of the SPPA Executive Team. Preparation and consolidation of daily briefing packs for the SPPA Executive Team and their direct reports. Organising and preparing meetings and events for the SPPA Executive Team, supporting with prioritising tasks and coordinating activity. Interviews and assessments are expected to take place in person on site at SPPA, 7 Tweedside Park, Tweedbank, Galashiels, TD1 3TE. Assessments are scheduled for w/c 9th or 16th June however this may be subject to change. Qualifications About Us The Scottish Public Pensions Agency is an Agency of the Scottish Government. Our principal role is to administer the pensions for employees in the National Health Service, Teachers’, Police and Fire-fighters’ pension schemes in Scotland.
