Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Roller Shutter Engineer located in Kingswinford. The Roller Shutter Engineer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roller shutters, fire and smoke curtains, steel door sets, and security gates. The role includes diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring all systems meet safety and performance standards. The engineer will work closely with other team members to deliver excellent service to clients.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in installation, maintenance, and repair of roller shutters and security gates
* Basic mechanical and electrical engineering skills
* Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in industrial and commercial settings
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Previous experience in roller shutters or a similar field is advantageous
* Full driving license to support site visits
* Willingness to work flexible hours when required
