Clark Wood is working with a well-established firm seeking an experienced GP Accounts & Tax Manager to manage a portfolio of General Practitioner clientsThis role is ideal for someone with strong GP accounts, tax compliance, and NHS Pension Scheme experience who enjoys client-facing advisory work alongside technical delivery.The firm are looking for someone with experience reviewing and managing general practice accounts and tax returns, as well as advsing clients on drawings, withdrawals and tax planning matters.Previous experience in handling NHS Pension Scheme compliance, including AAPSS, Annual Allowance calculations, and RPPS reporting is preffered.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure timely and accurate tax compliance in line with UK regulationsLiaise with HMRC, NHS bodies, and internal teams (UK & India)Review work, resolve technical issues, and maintain high-quality standardsSupport and mentor team members where requiredContribute to process improvements and efficient workflow managementWhat Were Looking ForProven experience working with GP clients (essential)Strong knowledge of UK tax and NHS Pension Scheme requirementsExcellent client communication and relationship management skillsWell-organised, deadline-driven, and collaborativeQualified by experience or with a relevant accounting/tax qualificationThis is an excellent opportunity for a GP specialist looking to take ownership of a varied and rewarding portfolio within a supportive, professional environment.The firm can offer an excellent platform to progress your career as well as flexible working arrangements including flexitime and hybrid working, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (FTE) and free nearby parkingFor more details about this role, please contact Jack Wyatt at Clark Wood - / 01173 291056.If this opportunity doesn't align with your current search, please get in touch to explore other openings.
