Experienced Property Manager Needed for Dynamic 12-Month Contract\n\nAre you an accomplished property manager with a proven track record in overseeing large volumes of residential blocks? This is a unique chance to join a rapidly expanding company headquartered in London, with a portfolio that extends from Manchester to Bristol, and a significant presence in London and the South East. This 12-month maternity cover role could offer the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate to support their continued growth.\n\nWhy Consider This Role?\n\n- Career Growth: Join a fast-growing business where your contributions can lead to long-term career opportunities.\n- Diverse Portfolio: Manage 13 buildings, encompassing 700 units, providing a varied and engaging workload.\n- Professional Development: Enhance your skills in a supportive environment that values continuous improvement and innovation.\n- Competitive Compensation: Earn a £40k basic salary, with all business expenses covered, including overnight stays.\n- Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a hybrid working model with standard hours from Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n- Oversee regular management and approval of invoices.\n- Provide credit control support.\n- Manage possession proceedings and valuation support.\n- Process maintenance requests via Fixflo, including initial fault triage.\n- Respond to tenancy queries through various communication channels.\n- Handle end-of-tenancy processes and manage void period repairs.\n- Ensure keys and access codes are maintained for all units.\n- Liaise with the lettings team for smooth tenancy handovers.\n- Renew essential certificates (Gas Safety, EICR, EPC).\n- Conduct monthly site inspections and implement identified improvements.\n- Recommend upgrades and improvements to asset management.\n- Manage PPM schedules and ensure communal utility bills are paid.\n- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.\n- Review risk assessments and implement action points.\n- Support other property management activities as needed.\n\nSkills, Knowledge, and Experience\n\n- Positive attitude and adaptability to evolving processes.\n- Strong time management and ability to handle a dynamic workload.\n- Customer service focus with a commitment to resolving issues.\n- Ability to remain calm under pressure.\n- Confidence to suggest improvements and provide feedback.\n- Willingness to travel for property visits and meetings.\n- Full UK driving licence is preferable.\n- Proficiency in written and spoken English.\n- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and web/email literacy.\n- Numerate and literate.\n\nThis role is ideal for a proactive and dedicated property manager looking to make a significant impact within a thriving company.
