Job Overview
New Business Account Executive – Midlands. Salary: Negotiable, plus car allowance, bonus, and benefits.
Responsibilities
* Develop a personal pipeline of new business.
* Add new introducers to your network.
* Advise clients on new business quotations and coverage requirements, and ultimately on renewals.
* Work with clients to expand and develop their coverage to ensure they have the right cover.
* Liaise with the broking and support team to ensure all documentation is accurate.
* Actively negotiate with underwriters to secure the best terms.
* Work in a compliant and timely manner on all cases.
* Ensure income and retention targets are achieved and maintained.
* Work with the management team to achieve business objectives and support colleague development.
Qualifications
* Solid grounding across the range of Commercial Insurance market.
* High level communication skills (verbal, written, video).
* Negotiation, influencing, sales, stakeholder management, delegation, and IT skills.
* Client‑first mindset and confidence interacting with stakeholders at all levels, particularly board level.
* Full driving licence.
