Were looking for an experienced Plant Mechanic to join a long-standing and respected family-owned business that maintains and repairs a wide range of construction and manufacturing equipment, such as shredders, trommels, crushers, skips, and more. If you have a strong mechanical background and take pride in keeping machinery running at its best, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
About the Role:
Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on plant and machinery
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
Keep accurate service records and report on completed work
About You:
Proven experience as a Plant/HGV Mechanic, Fitter, or similar role
Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving
Full UK driving licence (essential)
NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in Plant Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
