Fabrication and MIG Wedling Experience Undertake all tasks of own trade and noncore activities of other dissimilar trades and maybe required instructing others Ability to prioritise own work Advise and inform of any defects found in the course of your duties Complete necessary paperwork according to Depot Procedures and adhere to such procedures Ensure that work is completed in a clean and tidy manner Take care of all working property and handle it in a safe working manner, ensuring it is returned to its proper location Deliver and be responsible for quality of work undertaken and to required standards Non-core activity may require checking to ensure it meets required standards Input of data (IT) Follow and work to all site safety standards and rules Follow all work to all technical instructions Education Requirements/Person Specification: Minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent In Welding or similar qualification or Time served apprenticeship or equivalent at NVQ Level 3 Trained in problem solving techniques, root cause analysis and team working Ability to work to a high level of detail and precision Ability to follow technical instruction both written and verbal Not essential – NVQ Level 3 in non-core trade i.e. Engineering Maintenance/Production or equivalent qualification Experience in an engineering environment
