About the Role As a Domestic Cleaner, you will play a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and NHS staff. We're looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about supporting patient care, flexible with working hours, and willing to take on additional shifts at short notice. Key Responsibilities Your duties may include: Cleaning and sanitising wards, patient rooms, bathrooms, staff areas, and public spaces Following infection‑control procedures and using PPE correctly Handling and disposing of waste, including clinical waste Replenishing essential supplies (soap, hand sanitiser, paper towels, etc.) Operating cleaning machinery such as floor buffers (training provided) Maintaining NHS cleanliness standards at all times Working closely with clinical and support teams to respond quickly to needs on the wards Hours & Pay Full‑time and part‑time opportunities available. Shifts operate between 07:00 - 20:00, Monday to Sunday. Pay rates (first 12 weeks): Weekdays: £12.71 Saturdays: £17.92 Sundays: £23.26 Pay rates (after 12 weeks): Weekdays: £12.93 Saturdays: £18.22 Sundays: £23.65 There may also be opportunities for additional hours at short notice.
