RMS are working for an outstanding automotive client who is a leading provider of Automotive Logistics and Finished Vehicle Compound Handling. Due to recent business growth we are currently expanding and we are recruiting for a new compound administrator who have a passion and previous experience of administrative tasks in a automotive/logistics environment.
This role could be based at Grimsby or Killingholme

About the role:
Based at Grimsby or Killingholme.
The role is working for a luxury car and SUV manufacturer. You will be required to provide administrative assistance to help ensure the successful completion of all departmental objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
8. To ensure 20/20 system (inhouse system) is maintained at all times regarding vehicle status
9. Organise and print paperwork for the Compound Team to pull and build loads
10. Print all job sheets for workshop
11. Maintain spreadsheets and databases regarding all work carried out in the Workshop
12. Collate all documents once loads have been arrived or despatched and update systems
13. Maintain effective communication across the team to ensure Compound Team are aware of haulier commitments and self collects
14. Communicates with Compound Teams to ensure correct documentation reaches the correct vehicles
15. Provide administrative support to department and Inbound / Outbound Compound Manager
16. Produce report on a daily / weekly / monthly basis
17. Undertake general administration tasks across the site
Pattern of Work:The role is a day shift predominantly between 8am-6pm. 37.5 hours per week.
About you:
18. The Ideal applicant must have previous experience working within a fast-paced administrative environment
19. The Ideal applicant will have strong administration skills and is comfortable on various software’s including – Excel and word.
20. It would be advantageous for the ideal candidate to have a good understanding and working experience within Automotive/Logistics/ Distribution operations.
21. The Ideal applicant will have experience with computer systems and data recording.
22. The Ideal applicant will have excellent organisation skills and be a strong communicator.
