Aramark UK is looking to hire a hands on and experienced Head Chef reporting to the site GM on a full time basis. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for all dining across three feeding messes. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, in addition to ad hoc hospitality and events. You will be part of a well-established team at Regents Park Barracks, NW1 which will allow you to develop and grow the team and put your own stamp on things!

A day in the life of a Head Chef:
· Responsible for the day to day delivery of outstanding fresh, seasonally influenced dishes in line with Aramark’s ethos values and culture, across our catering areas, including hospitality from time to time
· Menu planning, management of gross profit to ensure and in support of delivering profitable sales
· Operating to, and adherence to all H&S processes and procedures including allergen management
· Responsible for managing and development of your direct reports
· Contributing, in support of the General Manager, to the overall success and development both operational and financial of our service provision
You'll be set up for success if you have:
· Experience operating as a Head Chef ideally in a contract catering/ B&I/ Education or military setting
· Genuine passion and enthusiasm for great food and service
· Calm under pressure, problem solver with a can-do attitude
· Leads and inspires others
· Articulate and confident when speaking customers and clients
· Has a commercial approach to menu planning, portion control and waste management – whilst delivering fresh, innovative food concepts and offers that deliver profitable sales
