Role Description
We are looking for a Purchasing Team Member to join our growing team in Ferndown, UK.
This is a full time, on site role supporting the day to day purchasing function across a busy aviation C&E business. You will help source material, manage supplier communication, process purchase orders, track deliveries, and support stock availability in line with customer demand.
This role would suit someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment where priorities can move quickly.
What you will be doing
Raising and processing purchase orders
Sourcing material from approved suppliers and OEMs
Chasing supplier quotes, order acknowledgements, and delivery dates
Updating purchasing and stock records accurately
Supporting pricing, lead time, and availability checks
Working closely with sales, warehouse, and operations teams
Helping maintain strong supplier relationships
Supporting general purchasing administration and day to day team tasks

Comfortable working with data, systems, and spreadsheets

Team player with a positive approach
Desirable (but not essential)
Experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or administration
Aviation, aerospace, or engineering industry experience
Knowledge of consumables and expendables (C&E) materials
Experience working in a fast moving stock / distribution environment
