JAG Talent is partnered with a leading Media company based in Woking to hire a motivated trainee accountant into their team. This is a 9 month contract requiring an immediate start.
Are you working towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA and wanting a role with clear progression and development? This role focuses on bank reconciliations, cash postings, intercompany accounting, and assisting with reporting, forecasting, and fixed asset processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Post and reconcile cash transactions
* Support cashflow forecasting and cash management
* Prepare monthly journals (e.g. intercompany, PSA, employee loans)
* Manage intercompany accounts and reconciliations
* Assist with capital expenditure processes and asset accounting
* Contribute to monthly reporting and group submissions
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations
About You
* Studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA (study support provided)
* Strong Excel and ERP/system skills
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
* Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
*This role offers hybrid working requiring 3 days on site in the Woking office and two days from home.
