Dover Marina Hotel & Spa, requires a Food & Beverage Manager to manage Mr Whites English Chophouse Restaurant, Wheeler's Fish & Chips, Churchill Bar & Lounge, and 3 function rooms for weddings, meetings and small functions which can cater for banquets up to 200 guests.
JOB SUMMARY:
Drive operational efficacy across all Food and Beverage outlets to run in a smooth and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times, delivering high standards required by all customers. The role will be responsible for ensuring that the two Marco Pierre White dining outlets operate in accordance to the Marco Pierre White brand standards whilst adhering to all brand standards set by Hilton hotels.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* To ensure that all Food & Beverage outlets are adequately manned and weekly timesheets reflect business levels.
* To adapt, understand and implement Hilton brand standards throughout all Food & Beverage outlets within the hotel.
* To manage and supervise special events, busy trading periods and support the Food & Beverage team in performing according to agreed standards and by ensuring customer satisfaction at all times is of the highest level.
* To ensure regular staff training is taking place, improving skill of restaurant and bar staff and ensuring staff retention through a motivated team.
* To display a 'hands on' approach in the daily running of the Food & Beverage outlets and support the Supervisors in maintaining the highest possible service standards throughout.
* To be available for Duty Management shifts as requested.
* To actively promote through sales training, advertising, in house promotions all Food & Beverage promotions and Events
* To actively implement Marina Rewards Scheme with minimum numbers of sign up on a weekly basis
* To attend bi-weekly Sales Meeting and to produce consumption figures based on EPOS reports.
* To ensure all Health & Safety obligations are complied with and relevant training takes place on a 6 month basis, with Departmental Audits carried out on a monthly basis
We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic and previous managerial or supervisory experience within a quality food & beverage operation, and competent in leading teams. Previous hotel and event experience would also be a distinct advantage. You must have excellent customer focus and the ability to motivate and manage a team of staff.
