About the role
As a Multi Skilled Engineer – Electrical Bias at JLL, you will be part of a team that shapes a brighter way for our client Rolls‑Royce and our colleagues. You’ll design, install, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, contributing to creating optimal work environments.
Work schedule
40 hours a week, Monday through Friday.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities
* Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of low voltage electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm systems, security systems, emergency lighting and access control.
* Testing and inspection of low voltage electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and relevant codes; documented results accurately.
* Fault diagnosis and repair using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques; carrying out repairs and replacements to keep systems operational.
* Preventive maintenance: plan and execute preventive tasks to reduce downtime, increase reliability and extend equipment life; maintain maintenance schedules.
* Compliance and safety: adhere to health, safety and environmental policies; comply with electrical regulations and standards; report hazards or incidents promptly.
* Collaboration: work effectively with team members, contractors and clients; guide and support junior staff when required; document and report work performed.
Qualifications
* C&G Level 2 or 3 Diploma Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
* C&G 2360 Parts 1 & 2 (Test & Inspection certificate preferred)
* 18th edition knowledge of electrical codes
* Strong electrical and HVAC experience
* Knowledge of heating and air‑conditioning systems
* Understanding of building fabric and ability to carry out basic fabric‑reactive repairs
* Sound knowledge of health and safety obligations related to maintenance activities
* Prepared to work out of hours when required
* On‑call one week in five (allowance paid); JLL transport provided
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Positive “can‑do” attitude
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
