Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting our Stockton based client in their search for 2 site electricians for an immediate start.
Our client is a specialist in the marine and offshore industry providing power solutions and effective marine automation.
The Role
The role will include, but not be limited to the following activities:
* Supervision of all personnel working in the Company workshop and on Client sites/vessels, including Company employees, Contract & Subcontracted personnel.
* Maintaining safe working practices and ensuring all employees, contractors and visitors are operating within the company’s Health & Safety policy rules.
* Final testing of equipment, ordering materials, assisting with onsite surveys and costings for quotes.
* Producing job specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), on site permits and policing POWRA’s.
* Maintaining good housekeeping standards, ensuring PPE is maintained and used correctly.
* Verifying Employees and Contractors time sheets.
Skills & Experience
* Previous electrical marine experience is an advantage but not essential.
* Understand & interpret electrical schematic drawings.
* Successful candidates must be able to work flexibly.
* The role may at times be customer facing and you will act as an ambassador of the company; therefore, we are looking for energetic and motivated persons that can form strong and long-lasting customer relationships.
Qualification requirements:
Minimum - Time served Apprenticeship, City & Guilds Level 3.
