SEMH Teaching Assistant – Full Time
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Contract: Full time, Monday to Friday, long-term
A specialist provision in Bolton is looking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
This setting supports pupils who may have experienced difficulties within mainstream education and require additional structure, consistency and support to engage with learning.
What the role involves
You will work closely with pupils throughout the school day, supporting both behaviour and learning in a structured environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation
* Supporting pupils during lessons and transitions
* Helping pupils remain engaged with learning
* Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff

* Experience within SEMH, behaviour or alternative provisions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
