So, what will I be doing?
Working as part of our operations team supporting production at our Cannington site, you'll be operating and optimizing complex machines and processing equipment, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of product quality and health and safety. Using mechanical skills and knowledge, you will be the go-to person for all in the team that need support with complex operational processes, optimizing complex machines or identifying root cause of underlying problems.
Undertaking maintenance tasks, validation checks, and optimisation of the machines, you will ensure the team can meet their daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with optimal utilisation of our assets and raw materials.
Key responsibilities:
* Dealing with the intake of raw materials.
* Handling returns and stock management.
* Foil picking, foil ordering, and general raw material ordering.
* Replenishing chemical cages and cabinets.
* Managing cream deliveries.
* Escalating any food safety breaches or quality issues.
* Completing daily paperwork and using internal computer systems.
* Performing quality control.
* Training, validating understanding, coaching, and mentoring to build capability.
* Energising the team, demonstrating enthusiasm, taking quick action, and encouraging others to do the same.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off rolling shift, working 6am to 6pm.

* Relevant experience as a machine operator in a production environment.
Desirable:
* Basic food hygiene knowledge.
* Knowledge of HACCP.
* Engineering skills.
* Forklift license.
