This role is ideal for an experienced Maths Teacher or current middle leader seeking to advance into a whole-school teaching and learning leadership position. As Lead Practitioner of Maths, you will:
* Support the Head of Department in driving continuous improvement across Maths teaching and learning.
* Coach and mentor staff to deliver high-quality lessons.
* Model outstanding classroom practice and share innovative strategies.
* Contribute to whole-school CPD and staff development initiatives.
* Collaborate with SLT to enhance curriculum design and student progress.
Experience and Qualifications
• Qualified Maths Teacher with QTS (PGCE or equivalent).
• Proven record of delivering outstanding outcomes across KS3–KS5.
• Evidence of coaching, mentoring, or supporting colleagues’ professional growth.
• Excellent knowledge of curriculum development and pedagogy.
• Inspirational communicator with a passion for Mathematics education.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
