Location:
Cardiff, Portsmouth or Amersham (Little Chalfont) offices – this will be an on-site role.
Reporting to:
VP, GM Diagnostics & Genomics and Lab Filtration.
What you will do:
* Develop and execute strategic plan for the Diagnostics business. Own and drive the end-to-end product portfolio strategy for the diagnostics business, including growth, profitability, and market positioning.
* Ensure portfolio performance delivers against CVS and KPIs, leading PSP problem‑solving processes to identify root‑causes and implementation of counter‑measures, as required.
* Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the D&G and LF organization as a member of the leadership team.
* Contribute to delivery of the innovation pipeline through leadership at the Innovation Council and ownership of own portfolio deliverables. Ensure a clear flow of projects to meet IFV/IPV targets.
* Partner cross‑functionally with R&D, operations, and commercial teams to ensure successful NPD execution and product launches.
* Spearhead design‑in mentality across the organization to enhance long term success.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4 direct reports, fostering a high‑performance culture. Ensure clear communication of goals, expectations, and feedback to the team.
Who you are:
* Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, or portfolio leadership, it would be a plus if it is within diagnostics, life sciences, or medical devices.
* Experience working cross‑functionally with R&D, operations, and commercial teams to deliver new product development (NPD).
* Experience leading and developing teams, including direct management of product management teams.
* Demonstrated experience managing product portfolios with P&L responsibility and delivering against revenue and margin targets.
Travel Requirements:
* Ability to travel internationally – up to 35% of the time and up to consecutive weeks.
Previous experience pluses:
* Experience working within the diagnostics industry.
