In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you'll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
As a Housekeeping Assistant, your main responsibility will be maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail will be reflected in the quality of the environment you help create. Whether you're managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you'll do so with kindness and professionalism.
We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although full training will be provided. You should have excellent time management and organisational skills. A positive attitude and good communication skills are essential, including the ability to listen and give clear instructions. It's important to be considerate and kind in all interactions with residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to undertake additional training in related areas. You should also be proactive in seeking advice and reporting concerns, including escalation if necessary.
We offer comprehensive training and a range of benefits to support your well-being and career development, including:
