Role Overview
Morning Duties – Attendance Officer:
* Monitor and track pupil attendance daily
* Liaise with families, external agencies, and staff to address attendance concerns
* Maintain accurate records and produce reports for senior leadership
* Support early intervention strategies to improve attendance
Afternoon Duties – SEMH Teaching Assistant:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs
* Assist in the delivery of tailored learning activities
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
* Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to support pupil progress
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and families
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Business insurance or willingness to obtain it
