Job Advert: Infrastructure Manager
Location: Office base for 4 days per week at any Alexander Dennis location (Please only apply to one Location)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to lead, develop, and deliver robust IT Infrastructure Systems that support the growth and global operations of Alexander Dennis. This is a critical role, ensuring our infrastructure is secure, resilient, and aligned with business strategy. You will manage a talented team, oversee complex projects, and play a key part in minimising incidents and supporting business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
* Formulate and implement IT Infrastructure strategies in alignment with the Global IT Strategy.
* Own the Infrastructure for the business to ensure high levels of operational uptime.
* Utilising embedded ITIL process and systems to ensure
* Lead and deliver projects related to the evaluation and implementation of group-wide systems.
* Ensure compliance with company IT policies and IT security requirements.
* Identify and analyse opportunities for cost reduction and business improvement.
* Challenge and improve existing company-wide systems.
* Manage and develop the Group IT Infrastructure team to achieve results.
* Support the management of Group IT Infrastructure budgets.
Technology Stack
* Microsoft Windows servers on-premise and cloud based services, using Hyper Visors to provide high availability systems.
* Microsoft 365, SQL Servers, SD-WAN, Firewall ownership, with Multi-data centres.
* Global business operations, with the technology managed centrally.

* Proficient in IT and management systems within a multi-site environment.
* Proven track record in formulating and implementing IT infrastructure strategies.
* Experience in planning and delivering projects within agreed timescales and budgets.
* Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a multi-functional environment.
* Persuasive, enthusiastic, and able to inspire others.
* Effective time management and organisational skills.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience managing complex infrastructure within a global business environment.
