Financial Director Role
The role involves overseeing all aspects of financial control, reporting and forecasting for the OFP Timber Frame and Chartway Drylining divisions.
* To provide strategic financial guidance to senior stakeholders within the Divisions.
* Lead the divisional finance team in delivering effective financial oversight and critical decision making.
Main Duties:
* To support and challenge the Estimating & Commercial teams around strategy & financial reporting implications for all new business tenders.
* To work with Group Finance to drive best practice in financial accounting & reporting.
* To oversee the financial and management reporting process for the Divisions.
* To review, strengthen and harmonise financial reporting and control processes across the Division.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement medium term targets, including ownership of the Divisional 3 year forecast, budget and relevant KPIs.
* To act as a key Business Partner to senior stakeholders within the Divisions.
* To present updates at the Monthly Business Review.
Key Skills:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
* Experience of accounts management including budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting.
* Significant proficiency in financial accounting & reporting, including external statutory reporting and audit.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and resources in order to deliver effective financial oversight and critical decision making.
