Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Supervising Social Worker to join their fostering team.
This role is based in Cardiff, with responsibility for a caseload across South Wales.
You will join a service committed to delivering high-quality support to children, young people and foster parents.

Essential Requirements
* Have a reflective and creative approach when working with foster carers and young people.
* Be able to manage a caseload of 1315 fostering families, offering guidance, supervision and development support.
* Be committed to providing wraparound support, including participation in the out-of-hours on-call service.
* Be passionate about contributing to the growth and development of the fostering service.
* Hold a professional Social Work qualification.
* Be registered with Social Care Wales or willing to register (registration fee covered by our client).
* Have experience in fostering or related childrens social care (e.g., looked-after childrens teams).
* Be able to evidence your ability to assess and identify young peoples needs.
* Have sound knowledge of fostering regulations, childcare law, and safeguarding practice.
* Be able to complete objective, professional assessments.
* Have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Desirable
* Ability to speak Welsh (not essential).
