Project Manager
Location: Basingstoke or London office (travel to other UK offices as required)
Role Overview
This role sits within a dynamic IT team responsible for driving innovation and delivering new technology solutions across the firm. The successful candidate will lead and manage a range of projects (both technical and business-focused), coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are robust, compliant with internal processes, and effectively delivered to the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple concurrent projects, including budget oversight, ensuring delivery to agreed scope, time, and quality standards
* Provide constructive challenge to technical and business decisions using a logical, evidence-based approach
* Oversee and coordinate multiple workstreams within projects
* Research and evaluate technologies to address business needs and challenges
* Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into clear, measurable deliverables
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and take ownership of continuous professional development
* Optimise the use of resources and team capacity
* Manage third-party vendors and consultants, and collaborate with stakeholders across the firm
* Identify opportunities to enhance existing systems and processes
* Produce and maintain accurate project and technical documentation
Essential Skills & Experience
* Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering technology solutions within a business environment
* Proven ability to analyse complex requirements and develop structured, logical solutions
* At least 3 years’ project management experience
* Highly self-motivated with strong organisational and prioritisation skills
* Ability to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining professionalism
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Experience using project management tools
* Track record of delivering effective, scalable solutions
* Experience managing complex, multi-faceted projects
* Background in legal or professional services environments
* Relevant certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, AgilePM, Scrum)
* Understanding of cyber security principles
