Practice Receptionist – Lerwick GP Practice Substantive Post 1 x Full time (37 hours per week) (Ref: 219010) Band 3, Salary Range £28,011 - £30,230 per annum plus (pro rata for part time posts) Distant Islands Allowance of £2,482 per annum An opportunity has arisen for Practice Receptionists in the Lerwick GP Practice; there are two posts available. The Lerwick Practice is a salaried General Practice, providing medical services to a population of approximately 8,700 patients. In this busy and demanding post, you will find no two days the same – the Reception staff have a key role in answering queries from members of the public as well as typing letters and referrals. Previous experience of working in a GP Practice would be an advantage but training on the job will be given.
