In this customer facing role, you will be dealing with customers either face to face, via email or by telephone to help answer day to day library enquiries.With a high standard of customer service, you will help us to provide a range of services that support the delivery of the library offer, including the provision of IT support, information and activities for all ages. Activities will include children's rhyme times, craft sessions and library events. You will help people to access the full range of library resources and will contribute to people’s positive experience of using our service.You will be based at Burntwood Library and maybe required to work at other libraries in the District, including Lichfield and Tamworth. The library is open Monday to Saturday.The hours of work are 32.15hours a week worked on a 2 week rota basis with 1hour lunch unless stated.Week OneMonday: 9.00am-5.00pmTuesday: 1.00pm-7.00pm (inc 15 min break)Wednesday: 8.45am-5.00pmThursday: 9.00am-5.00pmSaturday: 10.00am-4.00pm 30mins lunchWeek TwoMonday: 9.00am-5.00pmTuesday: 9.00am-7.00pmWednesday: 1.00pm-5.00pmThursday: 9.00am-5.00pmFriday: 9.00am-2.00pmMain Responsibilities
