A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable for this role, but not essential. Previous childcare experience is preferable. Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. Pay: £10 - £12.80 per Hour depending on experience *Plus accrued holiday pay Working Hours: Monday to Friday. Zero hour contract - this gives you flexibility to work different shifts each week depending on the Nursery needs. Our purpose-built nursery setting offers spacious, sunlit rooms ideal for exploration, featuring eco-friendly elements like a sedum roof and rainwater harvesting. Outside, our expansive garden exhibits a mud kitchen, vegetable garden, and engaging outdoor activities our children love. To locate The Old Station Nursery Innsworth, follow signs to HQ ARRC and turn opposite Imjin Store. Situated directly across from Imjin Barracks and just 5 minutes from the A40. There is parking available onsite next to Costcutter. What Your Role Involves As a valued member of our team, you’ll: Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive. Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework. Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents. Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
