This role will be based in Chelmsford, Essex. Pay will be based on skills and experience – discuss details with your recruiter.


Base pay range

£15.20 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Day/Night shifts available.

At Harmony Healthcare, exceptional care is delivered by exceptional people. We seek a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support a young client in Chelmsford. Your care will enable them to live safely, confidently, and with dignity in their own home.


About the Client

The client is a young child who benefits from structured routines, reassurance and support both at home and in the community. A carer who is calm, patient and confident working independently will thrive in this role.


Clinical Requirements

* PEG feeding
* Tracheostomy care
* Personal care
* Moving and handling

Full specialist training and competency sign‑off are provided, so you do not need every skill to apply.


Shifts Available

* Day shifts – 07:00 - 19:00
* Night shifts – 19:00 - 07:00


What The Role Involves

* Delivering compassionate 1:1 care in the client’s home
* Supporting community access and social activities
* Promoting independence and dignity in all tasks
* Providing emotional reassurance and wellbeing support
* Communicating effectively with the clinical, care, and coordination teams

Your presence will help the client feel safe, supported and in control of their daily routine.

* Confidence with clinical tasks (or a willingness to train)
* Strong communication and reliability
* Empathy, emotional intelligence and person‑centred values
* Ability to work independently and professionally

Compliance Requirements

All roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks, reference checks, Right to Work verification and full CQC/Schedule 3‑compliant onboarding.


Referral Bonus

* £150 for every Healthcare Assistant you refer
* £250 for every Registered Nurse you refer

Paid once your referral completes 150 hours.
